Preston Middle School Guest Teacher (Band) — Fall 2020
· Helped develop classroom material for online learning.

President of the CSU Collegiate National Association for Music Education (Fort Collins Chapter) — 2019-2020
· Created and implemented on-site professional development clinics and meetings for the continuing education of undergraduate music education majors.
· Collaborated and worked with local northern Colorado music teachers and programs to provide service and outreach.
· Coordinated events and delegated administrative tasks between faculty and a leadership team.
Head Drum Major of the CSU Marching Band — 2019-2020
· Conducted and rehearsed the CSU Marching Band during practices and televised performances.
· Collaborated and aided in logistical planning between faculty and student leadership team.
· Professionally represented the organization in all public venues in collaboration with the faculty director (Dr. T André Feagin).
CSU Drum Major Academy Head Counselor — Summer 2019
· Was held responsible for the safety, comfort, and education of roughly 40 high school students.
· Collaborated and aided in the planning and execution of camp events, clinics, and classes throughout the duration of the camp.
Colorado Honor Band Summer Camp Saxophone Counselor — Summer 2019
· Developed and executed daily rehearsals with both middle school and high school aged saxophonists.
· Monitored and ensured the safety of between 15-150 students at any one time.
· Collaborated and worked with a team of counselors in the execution of daily activities, rehearsals, and whole camp events.
Seattle Saxophone Institute Middle School Camp Guest Teacher — Summer 2019
· Collaborated with Seattle-based saxophonists and improvisors Neil Welch, Dr. Evan Smith, Kate Olson, and Peter Daniels in the execution of daily rehearsals, enrichment activities, and community performances.
· Performed in tandem with the above saxophonists in local events and showcases.
Seattle Music Works Jazz Camp Intern — Summer 2019
· Collaborated with the non-profit organization Seattle Music Works and local performer/educator Christian Pinnock in rehearsing and teaching daily rehearsals culminating in a final performance at a week-long jazz camp.
· Responsible for the logistical organization of the daily workload for the success of the camp rehearsal.
Colorado Early Colleges (Middle School) Jazz Band Assistant Director — 2018-2019
· Co-designed and taught a contemporary jazz curriculum to a wide instrumentation of middle schoolers on a weekly basis.
· Arranged and composed songs and parts that are level-appropriate for middle schoolers.
· Utilized and practiced teaching strategies to communicate jazz specific pedagogy and concepts.
Northridge High School Private Saxophone Instructor — Spring 2018
· Taught private lessons in Spanish to help a student learn saxophone technique and facility.
· Acting as an ensemble model and helping in the large classroom as an aid to the ensemble.
CSU Middle School Outreach Ensemble Saxophone Instructor (2 Years) — 2018-2019
· Created and taught lesson plans to roughly 25 middle school saxophonists on a bi-weekly basis to accomplish high-level musical goals.
· Collaborated and supported with a co-Section Instructor and two High School Mentees to best enrich the students’ learning and grow as collective teachers.
· Created, directed, and taught a break-off Saxophone Chamber Ensemble in music of my own arrangement to provide a deeper challenge to more advanced students, culminating in a Chamber Concert.
Conductor and Director of Thornton High School Wind Chamber Groups — 2015-2017
· Created and implemented lesson plans utilizing teaching and conducting capabilities to rehearse repertoire to performance quality
· Cooperated with organizations to create concert opportunities for the students as well as benefit the community like an event at a charity event for Food for Hope.
· Managed administrative duties to host off-site concerts for the students at venues such as the University of Denver to perform high quality repertoire such as Samuel Hazo’s Sevens and Arturo Marquez’s Danzon No. 2.
Private Saxophone Instructor — 2017-Present
· Taught multiple students at varying levels on a weekly basis saxophone fundamentals and musical concepts to enhance their in- and out-of-school musicianship.
· Communicated via technological and face-to-face mediums with parents and teachers to discuss student needs and goals.
Local Clinician and Sectional Instructor (Northern Colorado Area) — 2017-Present
· Observed and interviewed active music educators in the Denver Metro Area at all grade levels to better learn my own craft.
· Interacted with and aided the classroom and students with anything the teacher needs in both practicum and student aid capacities.
· A major clinician at schools such as Loveland HS, Northridge HS, Colorado Early College MS/HS, among others.
